Senior Revenue Accounting Manager

• Lead strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance and continuous improvement of the revenue accounting policy under ASC 606 & ASC 340 • Drive implementation and participation in cross-functional projects and system enhancements • Reviews and concludes on complex transactions for appropriate accounting treatment • Cross-functional collaboration with sales operations, product, marketing, legal, corporate accounting, and other business/operational groups to understand and resolve complex and ambiguous issues identified in reviews of business model and revenue arrangements • Partner with IT and Finance Transformation teams and leverage AI-driven tools to deploy automations for high-volume, repeatable tasks such as contract data extraction, billing reconciliation, and data validation between the CRM and ERP • Reviews the Month/Quarter/Year-end accounting close for critical accounting matters, assists with the disclosure analysis, and communicates results to management • Identify and lead initiatives to automate routine revenue accounting tasks, reducing manual intervention and shortening the month-end close cycle for revenue recognition • Evaluate existing manual revenue workflows and redesign them into automated models to support the increasing complexity of new SaaS business models • Collaborate with Internal Audit and External Auditors around key control documentation and evidence compliance requirements • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as needed and other projects as assigned • Demonstrates and applies strong accounting knowledge, acumen, and advanced technical expertise • Build and maintain a positive environment to train and develop team members to foster an understanding of broad Revenue Accounting principles, policies, procedures, and systems, with a high level of customer service focus.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in the related field
- 8 years of revenue accounting or related experience
- 3 years of direct people management experience
- Public accounting and industry experience
- Operational and technical accounting in ASC 606
- CPA certification (preferred)
- Operational and technical accounting in ASC 340 (preferred)
- Salesforce, Xactly, and Intacct experience is highly desired
- Prior AI, SQL, and/or Alteryx experience (preferred)
- Ability to interpret contracts and policies to ensure items are implemented accurately
- Advanced technical accounting skills and proficiency with financial systems required
- Must be able to manage multiple projects, processes, programs, and procedures simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and drive teams to deliver world-class services and high-impact results.
- Positive and professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a variety of team members in various departments and job levels.

Role Description Children's Wisconsin is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Financial Services Department. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in core accounting, reporting, and financial analysis while supporting our mission-driven healthcare organization. Location: Remote, with preference for candidates who are local Work Schedule: Approximately 0–30 hours per week depending on workload and school schedule. Role Description They are looking for an Accounting Manager to join their Accounting & Finance team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading aspects of the accounting function at the Corporate entity that provides Shared Services to Brands in the Client network. - Manage the day-to-day operations for general ledger accounting areas. - Liase and assist AR, Billing, AP and Finance with various inquiries. - Review monthly close entries prepared by staff (Prepaid, Fixed Assets, accruals, deferred rent, AMEX entries, etc.) - Oversee accounting staff to ensure a timely close and reporting deadlines. - Review balance sheet account reconciliations as well as prepare general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accuracy within the GL account. - Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. - Prepare/review Audit schedules as assigned and conduct audit research and answer questions. - Assist with preparing year end tax schedules. - Oversee intercompany reconciliation process. - Support month end ancillary package and hyperion trial balance uploads. - Serves as a back-up for various areas within the Shared Service Department. - Assist with Ad hoc requests as assigned. - Assist in the development and... • Deposit refund checks into the designated refund account and ensure proper tracking • Complete the daily Letter of Credit (LOC) and related monitoring activities • Review and process Return to Claims Office (RCO) checks • Process replacement check requests • Process weekly Rx claims payments, ensuring accuracy and timely release • Perform daily reconciliations between multiple claims and financial systems • Investigate and resolve reconciling items and discrepancies • Assist with interim and annual audits, including documentation support and auditor inquiries • Support compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures
