What you’ll do: - Own Commercial Nonprofit Sales revenue performance, including new business growth, and customer retention. - Define and execute the Nonprofit sales strategy by evaluating existing business, identifying new opportunities, and driving disciplined action plans. - Set clear expectations and ensure accountability through accurate forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, and sales performance reporting. - Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 30+ sales professionals and leaders, supporting execution across all stages of the sales cycle. - Serve as an executive‑level customer sponsor, clearly articulating the value proposition with credibility, presence, and deep understanding of customer needs, products, and competition. - Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Alliances, and Product leaders on annual planning and go‑to‑market execution. - Manage staff of 30+ sales professionals, encompassing sales account executives and sales leaders. What you’ll bring: - 10+ years of software sales experience, including 5+ years leading and managing high‑performing sales teams; SaaS experience preferred. - Proven experience scaling high‑velocity, SMB‑focused sales organizations with a strong emphasis on hands‑on coaching, skill development, and active pipeline management. - Demonstrated success selling software solutions in the nonprofit sector, with a strategic approach to demand generation and revenue growth. - Experience navigating high volume complex sales cycles with SMB customers. - Strong analytical capability, including use of ROI analysis, cost modeling, and quantitative techniques to educate and influence buyers. - Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills, with experience using Salesforce and Gong. - Prior experience working with nonprofits, foundations, or corporate social responsibility programs is highly preferred. The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $252,000.00 to $320,600.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
