Senior Analytics Analyst
R1 RCM
• Work with client resources to set up and QA data feeds for revenue cycle data and load data to R1 servers. • Plan, create and deliver time-sensitive ad-hoc report requests. • Summarize and include findings from analysis in reports distributed to Operations and leadership team for decision support. • Act as an expert for Health Information Systems data models. • Develop and implement validation standards for data transfer/loading and report creation. • Validate data and reports in the client host system.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or other healthcare related discipline preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience working in an analytics role with complex datasets.
- Expert in Health Information Systems, Epic preferred.
- Expert in SQL on any platform, including Snowflake/T-SQL/Microsoft SQL
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerBI skills
- Exemplary analytical and critical thinking skill
- Experience with data ingestion and database tools preferred. This includes: Astronomer Airflow, Data Bricks, MS Azure Blob Storage, SSIS packages and SSRS reports using Microsoft BI tools and SQL Server.
- Experience with using other programming languages such as Python, VBA, or DAX to automate the delivery of reports across an enterprise is also preferred.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Analytical Insights and is open to fully remote candidates across the U.S. The position plays a key role in analyzing case volumes, call volumes, staff productivity, and resource planning—critical elements for driving operational efficiency and supporting our business partners and members. As an internal analytics expert, you will provide insights for Clinical Operations (ClinOps) and support MTM and SQM business functions. The role involves working with tools such as SSIS, SSRS, Teradata, Alteryx, Dataiku, Tableau, and other analytical platforms. You will serve as the technical subject matter expert for automating data reporting from multiple sources, including Novologix, CAS, MedHok, MTM, SQM, phone systems, and Verint. Key responsibilities include: - Automating manual data processes. - Migrating applications to modern technologies. - Preparing data for Tableau dashboards that deliver prior authorization insights and exception reporting.
