IT Systems Administrator

• Management and optimization of our clients' IT infrastructure as part of our Managed Services, including administration and maintenance of Windows environments, network and database components • Installation, configuration and support of hardware and software at client sites to ensure a high-performance and reliable IT environment • Second-level support to provide technical assistance for clients facing complex IT issues, delivering quick and sustainable solutions • Participation in customer-facing IT projects and taking ownership of individual projects to make clients' IT future-proof and efficient • Proactive development and optimization of the overall IT infrastructure for our clients to continuously adapt it to their business requirements • Development and implementation of best practices for our Managed Services to promote standardization, security and efficiency and to ensure first-class service
Job Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science (e.g., Technical Computer Science, Business Informatics) or training as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable qualifications — alternatively extensive practical experience
- Initial professional experience in the IT field is a plus, but motivated career starters with solid knowledge and experience in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Veeam, Microsoft server operating systems and their services are welcome
- Ability to act as an “IT translator” — communicate complex technical topics clearly, solution-oriented and tailored to our clients
- Expertise in storage, virtualization and network firewalls is advantageous and valued in day-to-day work
- Basic experience with Unix-like operating systems (macOS, Linux) is an advantage but not a requirement
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, to communicate professionally and confidently with our clients and partners
- Strong technical understanding, team spirit, enjoyment of troubleshooting and a pragmatic solution orientation, as well as a willingness to continually develop
- Driver’s license class B for occasional client visits and service calls
- Sense of humor
