Job Description

Field Service Technician

Sartorius

• Ensure 1st level support for the assigned product line • Perform mostly scheduled service calls with regular travel; also beyond the assigned region • Advise customers on all technical questions in the field, including in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries • Maintain and expand long-standing customer relationships • Independently carry out service assignments (installations, IQ/OQ qualifications, maintenance, calibrations, repairs & restorations) • Precise and complete documentation of all work performed (maintenance and service documentation)

Job Requirements

  • Successfully completed vocational training, preferably in electronics or mechatronics
  • Manual dexterity and strong electromechanical skills
  • Qualification as a certified electrical specialist (Elektrofachkraft)
  • Knowledge of measurement and calibration technology, e.g., working according to ISO/DAkkS, GMP or GLP standards, is desirable
  • Experience in technical field service
  • Confident and experienced in interacting with people
  • Strong customer focus combined with excellent communication skills and a high service orientation
  • Very good German language skills, spoken and written, and a good command of English
  • Ability to work independently and in a structured way
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel regularly, including outside your region
  • Driving licence class B is mandatory
