Regional Sales Manager, E‑Commerce

• You actively build a new-customer pipeline in e‑commerce and acquire scalable merchants and digital business models for Nexi. • Proactive new-business acquisition in eCommerce (outbound, social/content prospecting, events) with a clear appointment target; building and maintaining a prioritized opportunity database. • Manage the complete deal cycle (Lead → Opportunity → Proposal → Closing) and hand over to the regional/farmer team after activation. • Conduct market and competitive analyses and identify trends (PSPs/gateways, checkout, orchestration, risk/fraud, local payment methods). • Deliver presentations and demos (remote & on-site), attend trade shows/events, and work with multipliers (ISVs, agencies, marketplaces).
Job Requirements
- >3 years of experience in new-business sales in payments/eCommerce/SaaS or demonstrable hunter success in the mid-market segment.
- Deep understanding of e‑commerce tech stacks (shop systems & plugins, payment APIs/SDKs, checkout/tokenization, APMs, fraud/risk basics) and commercial levers (conversion, acceptance, fees, TCO).
- Proven strength in structured outbound sales: prospecting, multi-threading, clean CRM funnel, reliable forecasts; comfortable with structured methodologies.
- Fluent German (native-level) and English.
- Willingness to travel nationwide with a valid Class B driver’s license.
- Team player with high personal accountability, strong presentation skills, and the ability to explain complex solutions simply.
