Manager, Marketing Communications – Automation

Centivo

• Manage ongoing communications to Centivo health plan members and Centivo Care patients across email, in app messaging, SMS and other channels • Execute campaigns that support the full member and patient journey including onboarding, care engagement, referrals, preventive care, and ongoing education • Collaborate with internal teams including product, clinical operations, client success, and compliance to ensure communications are accurate and aligned with the member experience • Translate complex healthcare and benefits concepts into clear, engaging communications for members and patients • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and similar platforms to assist with marketing communications development, campaign planning, and workflow efficiency • Identify opportunities where AI tools can help streamline content creation, campaign testing, and marketing processes • Help introduce and document practical AI workflows that can be used by the broader marketing team • Stay current on emerging AI tools relevant to marketing communications and share insights with the team • Help manage automated communication journeys across marketing platforms including triggered and lifecycle campaigns • Monitor campaign performance and help optimize communications to improve engagement and member experience • Work with marketing operations and product teams to identify opportunities for new automation across the member and patient journey

Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, marketing communications, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Experience in healthcare, health insurance, employee benefits, or healthcare technology
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Iterable, or similar tools, including hands-on execution of email campaigns, automated communication journeys, and lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex topics into clear and engaging communications
  • Demonstrated experience building or documenting AI-assisted workflows for content creation, campaign operations, or marketing processes
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally with teams including product, operations, and leadership.

Role Description This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging communications professional to grow rapidly alongside a senior communications and stakeholder engagement expert supporting a senior leader at the U.S. Department of Energy. The right candidate will gain broad exposure to the full spectrum of government communications work — from high-stakes memos and stakeholder correspondence to communications planning and cross-office coordination — all in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.
