Senior Permitting Manager
Field
• Owns and delivers BESS projects from site acquisition through to ready-to-build (RTB), with full accountability for timeline, budget, and project outcomes. • Takes responsibility for complex BESS projects and drive them to success—technically, commercially, and strategically. • Shapes our key projects through detailed programmes and risk registers to keep delivery on track and risks under control. • Acts as the single point of accountability for projects, leading cross-functional teams across grid, permitting, engineering, and finance.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in project development through the entire lifecycle of a project (ideally in renewables or storage)
- Strong project management and delivery mindset with proven ownership of complex projects
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive decision-making in uncertain environments
- Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and risk registers
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and markets in Germany
- Independent and structured working style with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Able to collaborate across disciplines and with multi-cultural, international teams
- Familiarity with construction permits, environmental impact assessments and the commissioning of required studies
