Role Description Schnabel Engineering is seeking a Project or Senior Geologist in our Greensboro, NC office. Remote applicants will be considered. We are looking for a motivated candidate to join our team of more than six engineering geologists to support our efforts on interesting and challenging dam, tunnel, and geohazard projects across the United States. This position will consist of management of advanced geotechnical investigations with a focus on both existing and proposed dam, hydropower, and pumped-storage hydropower projects. Job Responsibilities - Plan and manage detailed and technically advanced geotechnical investigations - Support the Creation of Drilling Program Plans (DPPs) - Manage activities of other field personnel - QA/QC boring logs and material classifications - Occasionally log test borings - Prepare boring logs and drawings using OpenGround software - Assign, perform, and review laboratory tests - Perform calculations to support designs - Provide support on preparation of reports and proposals - Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) of engineering geology for potential failure mode analyses, risk analyses, and design and construction projects Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Geology, Geological Engineering, Geology, or related Science - 5 or more years of professional experience (8 years preferred) - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Ability to multi-task - Strong work ethic and a desire for continual self-improvement - Willingness and ability to perform field work and travel, including assignments that may last a few weeks away from the office - Ability to lift 60 pounds and be physically able to negotiate construction sites, enter trenches, climb ladders and work outside Desired Skills/Experience - Prior professional work in a related field - Master’s Degree in related field preferred - OpenGround, CADD, and/or GIS experience preferred - PG and/or CEG Licensure preferred Other Requirements - Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check - Ability to pass a pre-employment screening Compensation The compensation range for a Project/Senior Engineer is between $73,202 to $133,355. Compensation for this position may vary based on geographic location and other factors. • Managing full-lifecycle implementation of a payments industry CRM and Residuals platform, ensuring seamless deployment and successful adoption. • Acting as the subject matter expert within the Merchant Central Support team for handling tasks and requests pertaining to the Residuals module. • Solving residual calculation tickets accurately using Excel and the Merchant Central platform. • Interacting with clients over Zoom and email that have questions pertaining to residual calculations, and configuration updates. • Creating new mathematical formulas and verifying existing formulas to ensure that residual income calculations are being reported correctly on client sites. • Provide clear, professional guidance on using and configuring Merchant Central Residuals module, tailoring explanations to clients’ needs and varying levels of technical expertise. • Logging software issues, bugs or inconsistencies that are reported by clients using JIRA and Zendesk tools. • Creating visual mockups and written descriptions of suggestions for the development team related but not limited to the Residuals functionality. • Training and coaching new clients on the benefits of Merchant Central to ensure maximum adaptability and stickiness. • Taking interest in and educating yourself about the payments industry to be able to provide the most accurate and up to date information. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams with a focus on Sales and Partner Experience to define data needs and implement data-driven solutions. • Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Assist in conducting ad-hoc analyses and data extraction when needed.

• Develop comprehensive analytics focusing on engagement with Rightway’s application. • Work cross-functionally with teams to provide actionable insights and refine and develop data processes for scalability. • Use advanced statistical analysis techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of our clinical management programs and devise measures for assessing efficacy on a recurring basis. • Contribute to the improvement of Rightway’s analytical infrastructure by implementing data preparation tools and automated reporting solutions. • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts, guiding standards and best practices within the team. • Lead the development of analytic frameworks and methodologies to support strategic initiatives. • Communicate complex data analysis results effectively to stakeholders and provide actionable recommendations. • Work with the team to identify and qualify new analytic product opportunities, understand key technical challenges and recommend strategies to operationalize solutions. • Present reporting results to internal stakeholders and implement feedback to create optimal data analytics. • Perform detailed pharmacy claims analysis to identify and remedy variances in reporting between Rightway and third party data collectors.
