These factories deliver AI/ML Applications, Data Science Platforms, Blockchain and Microservices for DoD, Healthcare and Civilian Agencies Project Overview We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to support the modernization of a large-scale enterprise software development platform. This role focuses on securing CI/CD pipelines, enforcing DevSecOps best practices, and implementing automated security testing throughout the SDLC. The engineer will work closely with development and platform engineering teams to embed security into reusable templates, GitHub Actions, and deployment workflows, ensuring applications are built and deployed securely across environments. Key Responsibilities - Support operations and maintenance of the DevSecOps platform - Design, develop, and maintain custom GitHub Actions for automated testing workflows - Build and enhance CI/CD pipeline capabilities to meet evolving FDIC requirements - Provide pipeline support and guidance to development teams across the organization - Review application security findings and assist teams with remediation strategies - Develop and maintain automated test suites across multiple testing layers - Define and implement enterprise testing standards, frameworks, and best practices - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing efficiency and coverage Required Skills: - Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field - Candidate must be willing to obtain the Public Trust Clearance. - Strong experience with GitHub Actions for CI/CD and test automation - Subject Matter Expertise in automated testing tools such as: Playwright, Selenium, Subject7, Jmeter, Azure App Testing - Ability to build test automation from requirements - Experience creating and managing user stories - Ability to migrate automated test cases across environments - Strong capability to work independently with minimal supervision - Experience creating end-user and technical documentation Preferred Skills - Experience facilitating technical/support meetings - Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and workflows - Strong troubleshooting skills for debugging broken test cases

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright. • Participate in the migration from Leapwork to Playwright. • Identify test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and risks based on requirements. • Develop end-to-end, integration, and API tests. • Write clean, maintainable automation code following SOLID principles. • Execute automated tests to validate functionality, performance, and scalability. • Integrate tests into continuous delivery pipelines. • Perform exploratory testing of new features. • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA. • Collaborate closely with developers in an Agile/Scrum environment. • Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices and tooling.

• Analyze business and technical requirements to understand application functionality • Design, write, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing • Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect‑tracking tools • Work closely with developers, product owners, and BA teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues • Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure defect resolution • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments • Ensure adherence to QA standards and best practices • Provide regular test status updates and detailed test reports.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable test automation frameworks for our web applications and backend services • Lead the development of automated test scripts, test suites, and testing strategies to ensure comprehensive test coverage • Performing integration, functional, regression, smoke, performance, and security testing to identify bugs or defects • Conceptually clear the testing pyramid model and effort optimization • Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and assisting clients with product validation • Advocate for and implement shift-left testing principles, integrating quality checks early in the software development lifecycle • Create, manage, and maintain test stubs and virtual services to isolate components and enable robust testing in a complex service-oriented architecture • Validate telephony integration points and end-to-end call flows • Integrate automated testing seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and delivery, fostering a strong DevOps culture • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test plans for new features • Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior test automation engineers • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and quality engineering
