SEO Specialist

Remote Raven

• Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies across multiple client accounts • Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify opportunities for organic growth • Perform regular SEO audits and prioritize actionable improvements for each client site • Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, header structure, internal linking, and URL architecture • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, and crawlability • Build and manage backlink strategies to strengthen domain authority • Make on-site updates across client websites including content edits, page creation, and structural changes • Work confidently within Webflow and other website builders or CMS platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or Shopify • Implement SEO recommendations directly on client websites without relying on a separate development team • Ensure all web pages are properly optimized for search at the time of publishing or updating • Build, maintain, and manage detailed SEO tracking spreadsheets and reporting dashboards in Excel or Google Sheets • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic trends, click-through rates, and conversion performance across all client accounts • Analyze data to identify patterns, issues, and opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations • Prepare and deliver regular SEO performance reports for internal teams and clients • Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz to inform strategy and measure results • Collaborate with the in-house content writer to ensure all content is optimized for target keywords and search intent • Provide keyword briefs, content outlines, and SEO direction to guide content creation • Review and make minor content updates or SEO adjustments directly on the site when needed • Ensure meta data, alt text, schema markup, and internal links are applied consistently across all content • Manage and maintain XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and site indexing settings • Identify and resolve crawl errors, redirect chains, broken links, and duplicate content issues • Implement structured data and schema markup to enhance search appearance • Coordinate with web teams or platforms to address technical issues that impact search performance.

Job Requirements

  • 2 or more years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within an agency or multi-client environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets — you are comfortable building reports, pivot tables, and tracking systems from scratch
  • Demonstrated experience making updates directly within Webflow or Comparable website builders
  • Working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and at least one SEO platform such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organization
  • Clear written communication skills for reporting and client-facing documentation.
  • Experience with Webflow specifically, including the ability to build or redesign pages within the platform
  • Web design skills — the ability to create visually clean, conversion-focused pages is a meaningful advantage
  • Ability to review and edit content for SEO optimization when the content writer needs support
  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, or other CMS platforms in addition to Webflow
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS basics for implementing SEO-related code changes
  • Google Analytics or Google Ads certification is a plus.
