• Plan, collaborate and lead on key CRM projects across our professional subscription products. • Manage and support a CRM Executive, helping them deliver against key projects while developing their CRM skills and executional excellence. • Deliver a range of cross-channel professional trigger and lifecycle communications, using data-driven insights to develop campaigns that encourage repeat use of Bark. • Lead the CRM go-to-market strategy for new product launches and new market opportunities. • Proactively identify and define opportunities for growth based on customer insight, commercial awareness and competitor analysis. • Create relevant marketing content that responds to customer needs, supports upsell and cross-sell opportunities, builds brand affinity and aids retention. • Devise and own test-and-learn plans across a range of lifecycles and campaigns, developing strategies to hit KPIs. • Use our CRM platform, Iterable, to its fullest extent, including dynamic content, personalisation, automation canvases, segmentation and testing tools. • Plan and manage the delivery of CRM campaigns across email, SMS, chameleon (on platform messaging) and push channels across multiple geographies. • Use AI tools, including Claude, MCP and relevant connectors, to improve the efficiency and quality of CRM execution, analysis and campaign development, including building skills and automations that support email creation, reporting and ongoing process improvement.
• Own design for your squad's workstream from discovery through delivery, across web and mobile • Frame problems clearly before jumping to solutions and bring structure and rationale to design decisions • Generate multiple concepts at pace, take feedback well, and iterate without backtracking • Work with product managers, engineers and researchers to identify the right problems and validate your thinking
• Design and run white-box, systems-first automated tests across our backend services • Partner with backend engineers early to close testability gaps • Own our performance testing capability • Build and maintain synthetic monitoring in Datadog and Grafana • Integrate tests into CI/CD and strengthen observability and alerting • Drive adoption of AI tooling across the QE chapter • Lead in the QE Guild
• Build and maintain elegant, responsive, and high-performing frontend experiences using React and TypeScript • Translate UX/UI designs into production-quality interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and browsers • Collaborate with product managers and designers to create and refine prototypes for usability testing, A/B experiments, and MVP launches • Optimise web performance and accessibility, ensuring our products are fast, inclusive, and meet best practices • Develop well-structured, maintainable code, and proactively suggest improvements to our codebase and architecture • Mentor and support other engineers, sharing knowledge and encouraging best practices across the team • Help shape technology decisions as we modernise our stack, influencing frontend architecture and tooling choices
• Work with development teams and product managers to conceptualise and implement software solutions • Build elegant and performant APIs and handlers • Develop and manage well-functioning datastores and services • Proactively propose and implement improvements to the codebase • Mentor other engineers to support their growth • Design and code solutions for systems with a high volume of transactions a second • Work with other high performing departments to revolutionise the product
• Own Paid Acquisition End-To-End: Own the entire paid acquisition stack across multiple channels (Google, Meta, Bing, TikTok, etc.) • Engineer Two-Sided, Marketplace-Aware Allocation: Build allocation logic that optimizes for marketplace outcomes. • Run Both Commercial Models In Parallel: Keep the pay-per-lead engine healthy while re-instrumenting acquisition for subscription models. • Run Creative At Performance Scale: Own the creative testing engine and productionise the AI creative pipeline. • Build AI Into The Function: Partner with the Marketing AI & Automation Engineer to ship agentic workflows. • Lead and Grow the Team: Inherit and develop the full Performance team across various channels and roles.
• Own the Consumer proposition end-to-end — from value proposition and product-led growth loops through to the day-to-day experience our consumers have when they come to Bark to get a job done. • We want a player-coach: someone who sets the direction, grows the team underneath them into stronger PMs, yet is ready to step into complex initiatives and shape them directly. • You’ll move fluently between vision, people, and execution — and you’ll make your teams faster by unblocking them, giving them clarity, and raising the bar on how we work. • This is a transformation role, not an iteration role. • We’re not looking to polish the current consumer experience - we’re rebuilding the model from the ground up, moving from a lead-gen business to a subscription marketplace.
• Build elegant and performant APIs and Backend solutions • Translation of UX/UI designs into production quality front-end experiences, using our proposed Front End stack (React, Typescript) • Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications • Convert business requirements into high-quality, production-ready solutions while collaborating with other engineers to develop a fully functional and working product • Proactively propose and implement improvements to the codebase • Design and code solutions for systems with 1000s of transactions a second • Collaboration with product managers and designers to create prototypes necessary for usability evaluations, A/B and MVP testing and development specifications
