Senior Staff Data Scientist
Dexcom
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of data infrastructure for clinical studies and real-world data sources. • Lead the research, prototyping, and development of machine learning and AI models aligned to business needs. • Oversee the production and review of tables, figures, and listings, interpret results, and proactively address limitations in study design or statistical methods. • Provide statistical consultation and thought leadership to cross-functional partners in R&D, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, medical science, and with external collaborators.
Job Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8 – 12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5 – 7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2 -4 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in statistical methods, applications, and programming.
- Extensive knowledge of advanced data science methods and experience exploring and applying AI/ML techniques.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on programming experience with SAS, R, and SQL; familiarity with additional languages such as Python is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
