• Provide architectural leadership across a number of interdependent engineering teams, systems, business departments. • Connect multiple independent systems to provide discoverable, visible, and clean customer data across marketing, operations, analytics, and product teams • Partner with business stakeholders to improve the tech stack for all the business needs, including but not limited to: data governance, reporting, and site performance analytics • Level up your teammates’ technical design and Ruby on Rails skillset • Contribute to architecture design and code reviews for all key application functional components • Provide critical thinking, technical innovation and attention to detail when serving as a trusted advisor and mentor to your team • Support QA, verification and validation activities to ensure system quality, functionality and performance • Code new features • Code bug fixes alongside your team when needed

• You’ll be responsible for designing and building services and products that support scaling company processes, improving decision making, and empowering customers with actionable data. • You’ll work on projects like: • Building and scaling our analytics pipeline for simplified data management and moving quickly to enable business and product analytics • Developing Clever’s internal products to make our people and processes more productive and secure • Managing Clever’s data warehouse and optimizing for scale as we grow our user base and product surface area • Expanding and scaling our external analytics products to fulfill the analytics demands of external customers

• Define and evolve cross-team architecture for data platforms and services within the AEC Platform Data organization • Establish standards, reference architectures and reusable components; promote their adoption across all teams in the AEC Platform Data organization • Drive architectural governance and maintain Architectural Decision Records (ADRs); conduct cross-team design reviews • Design and guide the implementation of distributed systems and data platforms (APIs, schemas, event streams, batch and streaming pipelines) • Ensure reliability, security and performance; define SLOs and promote observability (metrics, tracing, logging) • Collaborate with product and platform teams across the AEC organization to align roadmaps and integrations • Communicate architectures using clear views and diagrams (e.g., C4) and tailored descriptions for executive audiences

• Research, prototype, develop and optimize APIs, tools and libraries for ACLs, Switching, Routing, QOS, Telemetry, Analytics, and so on • Analyze, influence and improve the performance of software libraries, APIs, and tools according to good engineering practices • Collaborate with team members, architects, QA and support teams to resolve defects • Assist our customers integrate the SDK software into their applications • For senior levels, leading, and driving multi-functional teams on large feature developments across different layers
