• Administration of the server farm and IT infrastructure • Planning, installation, configuration and administration of complex server environments in the Microsoft ecosystem • Participation in IT projects within the Microsoft environment • Ensuring system availability through fault analysis and incident resolution • On-call duty (compensated) • Independently developing concepts and implementing them • Customer support (2nd level, 3rd level) via email, phone and ticketing system
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft server environment
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2012 and later)
- Excellent knowledge of Active Directory
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Exchange
- Good knowledge of PowerShell
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2008 and later)
- Good knowledge of networking and encryption technologies (TCP/IP, IPsec, OpenVPN, SSL, firewalls, HA, load balancing)
- Good knowledge of design, administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft clusters
- Experience with Linux operating systems desirable
- Business-fluent German (C1) required for daily communication
- Good command of English
- Experience with virtualization technologies from vendors such as VMware, Proxmox, Virtuozzo
- Experience with server management interfaces (Plesk, Virtuozzo Automator, Confixx)
