Role Description We are recruiting experienced developers to operate within the firm, in our KX Global consultancy practice, and product implementation teams. We have opportunities spanning Belfast, Newry, London, Glasgow, Budapest, New York, Toronto, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. - Working onsite for global clients as part of our kdb+ consulting practice - Developing our product suite - Operating as Subject Matter Expert for KX product installations and customization - Contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including influencing the overall design and architecture of the application and developing, testing, and deploying the code - Interacting with users to understand requirements and integration needs, deploy applications, assist with user configurations, troubleshoot issues, and perform training Qualifications - Self-starter who is proactive and driven, with a passion for learning new tools and technologies - Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology - 3+ years working in a software engineering / development role - Demonstrate a track record of developing successful software solutions in Python or similar programming languages such as Java / C# / C++ - A good understanding of Cloud Technologies - Ability to work to tight deadlines - Excellent communication skills

• Develop our product MOBIKO in TypeScript, NestJS and Vue from conception to deployment • Continuously expand automated tests with Jest • Work with our tech team to develop creative solutions for challenges across the development lifecycle for new and existing MOBIKO products • Take ownership of highest code quality and use state-of-the-art technologies • Think outside the box and develop creative solution approaches

• Collaborating with the Product Owner to create and refine User Stories and Acceptance Criteria • Participating in 3-month rough planning and defining iteration (sprint) goals • Engaging in research and prototyping • Working closely with product architects to refine technical solutions • Applying best design and coding practices to create high-quality components • Developing solutions and ensuring iteration goals are met • Writing automated tests to ensure code quality • Participating in code reviews to maintain high standards • Continuously improving team processes • Promoting knowledge sharing across the team and beyond

• Collaborate with engineers, tech leads, architects, and product managers to deliver your product. • Take end-to-end ownership of project delivery, including design, estimation, implementation, documentation, and release. • Be a leader with a strong technical grasp and decisive judgment on prioritization. • Coach junior engineers on all aspects of software development. • Be responsible for architecting and implementing diverse initiatives to manage both Private and Public Cloud Cloudera customers across various Cloudera services.
