• Administration of the server farm and IT infrastructure • Planning, installation, configuration and administration of complex Linux server environments • Ensuring system availability through troubleshooting and incident resolution • On-call duty (compensated) • Independently creating concepts and implementing them • Customer support (2nd Level, 3rd Level) via e-mail, phone and ticketing system
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of common Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS)
- Strong knowledge of server services (web servers, database servers, mail servers, DNS)
- Good knowledge of Windows Server operating systems is desirable
- Good knowledge of network and encryption technologies (TCP/IP, IPsec, OpenVPN, SSL, firewalls, high availability, load balancing)
- Business-fluent German (C1 GER) required for daily communication
- Good command of English
- Experience with virtualization technologies from vendors such as VMware, Proxmox, Virtuozzo
- Experience with server management interfaces (Plesk, Virtuozzo Automator, Confixx)
