• As a Sales Manager (m/f/d) you are responsible for the entire sales process for our opti.node Cockpit and will take on the following tasks: • Lead qualified initial conversations with plant operators and operations managers to analyze requirements • Deliver compelling live demos of our software to decision-makers and technical users • Progress sales opportunities in a structured way, prepare proposals and conduct contract negotiations through to successful deal closing • Actively build new customer relationships by processing qualified inbound leads from webinars, events and marketing campaigns and by identifying further potential through targeted outbound outreach • Represent node.energy at trade shows and events, give presentations and make valuable contacts • Provide structured customer and market feedback to other teams such as Marketing, Product and Customer Success • Work with our sales team to continuously improve sales processes • Maintain your pipeline in our CRM system (HubSpot) and keep it up to date
Job Requirements
- You bring relevant professional experience in B2B sales (at least 3 years) and are well versed in the challenges of our customer group (e.g. Section 6 of the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG), electricity tax and direct marketing)
- You can explain complex energy-economy topics clearly and convincingly
- You are experienced with CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.) and other common digital tools (Teams, Confluence, Miro, etc.)
- You are structured, communicative, have strong presentation skills and are experienced at building long-term customer relationships
- You have a strong closing orientation and enjoy bringing deals to a successful close
- In interactions with different stakeholders such as decision-makers or technical users you present yourself confidently and professionally
- You have very good German language skills (our company language) and good English skills
