Senior iOS Engineer

Veriff

• Designing, developing, and maintaining our iOS SDK using Swift, ensuring high performance, security, and usability • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers • Addressing challenges related to performance and compatibility across a wide range of devices and network conditions • Implementing and improving testing strategies, including unit, integration, and performance testing • Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and mentoring other engineers • Identifying and advocating for new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve development efficiency and product quality • Proactively identifying bottlenecks and resolving issues to ensure reliability and stability • Contributing to the technical direction of the iOS SDK and helping shape the future of Veriff’s mobile products

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior iOS Engineer with a strong track record in building high-quality iOS applications or SDKs
  • Strong expertise in Swift and iOS frameworks (Cocoa Touch, UIKit, etc.)
  • Experience designing and maintaining scalable, testable codebases and APIs
  • Solid understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into mobile applications
  • Experience with testing frameworks and automation tools (e.g., unit, integration, performance testing, Fastlane)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to drive complex initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
