• Act as a change agent and the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your assigned applications. • Dig into every requested change to determine the most efficient technical resolution. • Write functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Collaborate directly with Solution Architects, Application Architects, and development teams. • Actively support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and provide ongoing clarification. • Partner closely with QA to guarantee that every requirement is highly testable and validated. • Conduct system integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). • Identify risks and downstream impacts related to system changes and integrations.

Role Description IDS is currently searching for a Business Analyst with experience in Department of Defense (DoD) financial management processes, government financial and accounting systems, acquisition and budgeting processes, and relational databases to provide support and training to a government customer. - Act as a financial and technical consultant for a DoD program management and financial management system - Provide PMRT applications training to customers - Provide expertise in government finance - Assist customers in properly structuring financial data - Perform reconciliation between several systems - Perform daily review of forecasts and accounting data - Otherwise support a government financial office Qualifications - This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of government acquisition, finance or financial management, program management or related experience within a DoD organization. - Experience with Army financial management processes, Army financial systems, GFEBS, or/and Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR™) a plus. Requirements - This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in business management, engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics or other related discipline. - Experience in lieu of education may be considered if the individual has nine (9) or more years of equivalent technical training or work/military experience. Physical & Mental Qualifications - Must be able to sit, type, hear, see, and speak for extended periods of time. - Must consistently work and type on a computer for prolonged periods of time. - Must be able to communicate accurate information and ideas so others will understand. - Must be able to lift/carry at least 15 lbs. - May be required to move about inside an office to access file cabinets, office supplies, etc. Security Clearance - Applicants selected for employment will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet additional eligibility requirements for access to classified information or materials. Salary Range $80,000 - $120,000 per year The estimated salary range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job posting and may be modified in the future. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user needs and local team priorities. • Lead delivery across multiple projects, including process reviews, software implementations, data migrations, and reconciliations. • Define and manage prioritised product backlogs, create detailed user stories, and oversee the delivery of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. • Contribute to GUI design to ensure an intuitive and user-friendly experience. • Produce and maintain high-quality functional documentation, wireframes, and acceptance criteria. • Conduct or coordinate user acceptance testing to validate new features. • Support the definition and evolution of long-term product vision and strategy.
