Systems, DevOps Engineer
Mirantis
• Deploy, test, and evaluate Mirantis K8S-related products. • Manage and maintain bare metal test environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability. • Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructures. • Evaluate and evolve best practices for production bare metal environments configuration and deployment. • Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management tasks. • Participate in designing and developing of CICD tooling. • Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks. • Work with the geographically distributed team in a dynamic Agile environment. • Help with customer issues resolutions.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical experience in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) as a server platform.
- Deep understanding of OS, ability to debug and tune an underperforming system, as well as troubleshoot hardware issues.
- Strong networking knowledge, including protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- DevOps engineering experience, understanding of CI/CD core aspects.
- Thorough understanding and experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with versioning control systems, such as Git.
- Hands-on experience with public and private clouds such as AWS, Openstack.
- Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor degree in CS or related field.
- Good communication skills, can-do attitude, and focus on results.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Will be a plus Python/Golang or any other major programming language skills.
- Experience with high load systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting K8S cluster issues.
- Familiarity with code-review systems, like Gerrit or GerritHub.
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems, like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Ansible or other Operating system configuration management tool.
- Experience with Baremetal servers management.
