Citrix Engineer
Coopers Group AG
• Ensure the stable operation and maintenance of the existing Citrix environment • Administration and maintenance of Citrix StoreFront, Delivery Controller, WEM, Citrix Studio, as well as VDI and Remote Desktop host infrastructures • Monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution during operation • Performing updates, patches and optimizations as part of operations • Documentation of the system landscape and processes • Close collaboration with internal IT teams and external partners
Job Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience operating Citrix environments
- Solid knowledge of Citrix technologies (StoreFront, Delivery Controller, WEM, Studio, VDI, Remote Desktop Hosts)
- Experience operating complex IT infrastructures (focus on operations rather than development)
- Citrix Certified Professional certification is an advantage
- Experience with PowerShell and knowledge of Citrix XenServer is a plus
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- High level of personal responsibility and reliability
- Fluent German language skills

• Generally responsible for performing routine design of less complex engineering assignments • Assist in the design of larger and more complex electrical and instrumentation engineering assignments • Familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards • On-site assistance during startup • Produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans under general supervision • Developing conceptual layouts and cost studies as necessary to determine the simplest, most efficient approach to solving engineering tasks at hand • Producing estimate level preliminary designs and material take-offs suitable for the level of the estimate being performed on a project • Producing detail design calculations and sketches for materials of construction associated with the project • Assisting the drafting group in resolving routine layout and detailing problems • Consulting with design leaders from other disciplines to ensure the smooth flow of vital information necessary for the scheduled completion of the project • Reviewing and checking vendor drawings and other discipline drawings for electrical/instrumentation input
