• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications that support the distribution and analysis of financial data. • Optimize application performance and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or improve existing technical solutions. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA/testers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features. • Perform unit, integration, and performance testing to ensure software reliability and quality. • Contribute to technical documentation and stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices. • Support deployment processes and ensure smooth integration of new features into cloud environments.

• Administration of the server farm and IT infrastructure • Planning, installation, configuration and administration of complex Linux server environments • Ensuring system availability through troubleshooting and incident resolution • On-call duty (compensated) • Independently creating concepts and implementing them • Customer support (2nd Level, 3rd Level) via e-mail, phone and ticketing system

We have opportunities spanning Belfast, Newry, London, Glasgow, Budapest, New York, Toronto, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. - Working onsite for global clients as part of our kdb+ consulting practice - Developing our product suite - Operating as Subject Matter Expert for KX product installations and customization - Contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including influencing the overall design and architecture of the application and developing, testing, and deploying the code - Interacting with users to understand requirements and integration needs, deploy applications, assist with user configurations, troubleshoot issues, and perform training Qualifications - Self-starter who is proactive and driven, with a passion for learning new tools and technologies - Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology - 3+ years working in a software engineering / development role - Demonstrate a track record of developing successful software solutions in Python or similar programming languages such as Java / C# / C++ - A good understanding of Cloud Technologies - Ability to work to tight deadlines - Excellent communication skills
