Role Description Are you a strategic thinker who thrives at the intersection of business and technology? Do you bring both deep consulting acumen and hands-on solution design experience in Finance, Sales Performance Management, or Workforce Planning? Join us as a Principal Solution Architect and lead transformative planning engagements across AMER. This is not a typical implementation role; it’s a consulting-led position where you will: - Shape strategy, influence executives, and solve complex business challenges. - Deliver enterprise planning solutions that drive measurable business value. - Support Anaplan commercial and product activities illustrating expertise in Anaplan Applications and Platform working directly with AE’s, Pre-sales, Professional Services sales, and product leads. Your Impact - Advise and Lead: Partner with senior business and IT leaders to define planning strategies and deliver high-impact transformation initiatives. - Design and Deliver: Architect scalable, flexible, and high-performing Anaplan solutions aligned to each customer’s vision and goals. - Solve Complex Problems: Apply critical thinking and creative problem-solving to uncover root causes, challenge assumptions, and design innovative planning approaches. - Consult with Confidence: Translate intricate business challenges into actionable roadmaps — balancing technical precision with commercial understanding. - Influence Outcomes: Act as a trusted advisor guiding customers on best practices, governance, and long-term planning maturity. - Collaborate and Enable: Work closely with cross-functional Anaplan teams and customers to ensure adoption, value realization, and success. - Support Innovation: Serve as an expert in Anaplan Applications and customer Platform solutions supporting both sales and product life cycles. - Support Growth: Contribute to pre-sales solutioning, client workshops, and thought leadership initiatives across the region. Qualifications - Proven experience implementing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) or enterprise planning solutions (preferably Anaplan, SAP BPC, TM1, Jedox, etc.). - Strong consulting background with the ability to advise, influence, and build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders. - Demonstrated problem-solving excellence — capable of diagnosing complex business and operational challenges and crafting innovative, pragmatic solutions. - Experience and acumen leading supporting sales pursuits, scoping, estimating, and SOW. - Desire to go deep on product and Applications to bring-to-life focused customer solutions. - Expertise in one or more domains: Finance, and Workforce Planning. - Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical, modelling, and communication skills. - Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-changing, high-value environments.
