Role Description We are looking for a sales-driven Account Executive of Sales (dedicated region - FLORIDA). Reporting to the Director, Agency Operations, the Account Executive is responsible for contributing to the growth of Kensington Tours Agency channel in the US & Canada through the proactive account management of travel agent locations that sit below the threshold for management by the field sales team. This role also provides essential administrative support to the field team. - Achieve personal Sales / Revenue and other Business KPI’s by executing pro-active sales strategies for assigned accounts and territories. - Actively manage the accounts that fall below the threshold of the field sales portfolio with the objective of increasing sales revenue. - Build and preserve effective relationships with new and existing travel agencies inclusive of maintaining an optimal level of agent related activities/week (emails, calls, follow-up calls, Agent sign ups, webinars). - Provide superior levels of customer service and sales support to all agencies within the territory. - Resolve any agent concerns or complaints through immediate communications with appropriate parties. - Maintain agency prospect lists/contact database in order to identify opportunities; proactively and consistently seek opportunities to promote and sell products. - Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all Kensington Tours product and services. - Host product/system training webinars with agency and consortia partners when required. - Will be required to assist in representing Kensington Tours at trade shows and preferred agency network events, presenting the Company’s products and services. - Other projects as assigned. Qualifications - Minimum 2 years’ travel industry phone sales experience ideally in a B2B capacity. - Highly motivated and enthusiastic with an innate sales drive with a proven ability to develop new business and increase sales. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and an ability to communicate in a polished and professional manner. - Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). - Ability to attend and participate in trade events & conferences when required. - Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. - Excellent customer service/relationship building skills. - Proven time management skills with an ability to set and meet personal timelines and deliverables. - Able to work in a fast-paced, changing, entrepreneurial environment and meet time-sensitive deadlines. - Worldly and well-traveled with nuanced understanding of the expectations of the luxury traveler an asset. - Specific regional experience/expertise across Europe, Asia, Africa and/or Latin America an asset. - Upbeat personality with a comfort being both a flexible and adaptable team player and a self-starter. Requirements - Must be able to work in a lean environment with autonomy. The Role We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Executive based in Chicago, Austin, Mountain View, or New York. The right candidate for this position will have a demonstrated history of success and quota over-achievement selling to enterprise organizations (preferably selling software applications, but software sales not necessary for consideration for role). Ideally, you have sold Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or Analytics applications and/or are familiar with the data market. The ability to work independently in a rapidly growing environment is important.
