Windows Software Developer

Daniels Health

• Design, develop, and support internal databases (SQL, NoSQL, Databricks) and Windows-based applications. • Work closely with the team to maintain existing applications and support end users. • Gather requirements from business units (e.g., engineering and sales) and interact with customers when needed to understand solution needs. • Collaborate with third-party vendors to integrate business systems or assist in application development. • Assist with researching, testing, and deploying reporting-based projects. • Follow a reliable software development life cycle process, including code changes, testing, and deployment. • Maintain clear and detailed documentation of work and planned changes. • Work with Business Analysts to understand needs, research solutions, and recommend technologies to management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of programming experience with Windows technologies.
  • Proficient in C#, WinForms, WPF, and Microsoft technologies (.NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, SQL Server/Azure).
  • Familiar with MSMQ, WCF, Microsoft Azure App Services, and basic Visual Basic.
  • Exposure to other languages/frameworks like PHP, Node.js, Python is a plus.
  • Experience with shell scripting and hardware/PLC communications preferred.
