Senior 3D & Motion Designer

THE ROLE You are not just designing assets. You are shaping visual direction. As our Senior 3D & Motion Designer, you will create motion-led brand expressions, campaign assets, product visuals, content systems, and immersive design moments across digital channels. You will work across concept development and final execution, helping shape how ideas move, feel, and scale across platforms. This is a senior-level creative role for someone who combines strong design instincts with advanced motion craft. You should be confident leading visual exploration, building polished assets, and collaborating closely with design, strategy, production, and digital teams. Prospekt is based in Toronto. This role is fully remote (limited to North America and Europe). We care about output, collaboration, and craft no matter where you are located. WHAT YOU WILL DO Motion Systems and Campaign Worlds •⁠ ⁠Lead the 3D design strategy and visual execution for installations, pop-ups, set design, and live brand environments. •⁠ ⁠Design spatial concepts, branded environments, and visual systems for experiential campaigns. •⁠ ⁠Create scalable 3D design frameworks that translate across event formats and physical touchpoints. •⁠ ⁠Integrate 3D design with graphics, motion, signage, and physical build elements. 3D Design and World-Building •⁠ ⁠Design and render high-impact 3D assets including product visuals, environments, typography treatments, and immersive campaign worlds. •⁠ ⁠Own the 3D pipeline from initial modeling and texturing to lighting, rendering, and compositing. •⁠ ⁠Adapt 3D styles fluidly, from hyper-real product renders to stylized, culture-forward visual worlds. •⁠ ⁠Ensure 3D work is technically strong, visually elevated, and ready for production across platforms. Sports and Cultural Design •⁠ ⁠Drive the 3D visual language for sports, culture, and experiential campaigns. •⁠ ⁠Design spaces that feel current, energetic, and culturally relevant. •⁠ ⁠Build work that captures movement, emotion, and brand storytelling in a physical environment. •⁠ ⁠Apply a strong design sensibility across form, scale, materials, and spatial flow. Team Leadership and Creative Collaboration •⁠ ⁠Help oversee the 3D design team across active projects and creative development. •⁠ ⁠Review work and maintain a high standard of craft across all 3D output. •⁠ ⁠Support workflow planning, delegation, and creative problem-solving within the 3D team. •⁠ ⁠Mentor junior 3D designers through clear direction, references, and constructive critique. •⁠ ⁠Present motion concepts, animation tests, and 3D explorations clearly to internal teams and clients. WHO YOU ARE •⁠ ⁠You have strong taste and clear opinions •⁠ ⁠You can think conceptually and execute at a high level •⁠ ⁠You move fast without sacrificing quality •⁠ ⁠You can lead motion systems conceptually while executing hands-on. •⁠ ⁠You understand culture and digital consumption equally. •⁠ ⁠You are comfortable with ownership, accountability, and presenting your point of view WHAT YOU BRING •⁠ 5+ years of experience in motion design, 3D design, or multidisciplinary brand design. •⁠ Brand marketing agency and/or experiential agency experience is required. •⁠ A highly polished portfolio showing motion systems, heavy sports campaign work, and including 3D designs for installations, pop-ups, set design and/or large events. •⁠ Experience leading visual direction across multiple channels and formats. •⁠ Advanced proficiency in After Effects and a primary 3D tool (Cinema 4D, Blender, Houdini, etc.). •⁠ Strong understanding of rendering engines (Octane, Redshift, etc.). •⁠ Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop. •⁠ Experience working in digital-first environments and building work that scales across ecosystems.
