Enterprise Data Architect – Migration Expert
GovCIO
• Utilize Veteran Affairs–specific data and analytics expertise to support cloud migration and ongoing operations including CCTS. • Work with CDW, VISTA, and Oracle Health data in support of VHA analytics service lines. • Apply expertise in CDW Metadata, data modeling, and CDW query optimization. • Conduct in‑depth data analysis to identify architectural migration patterns and resolve data or system dependencies. • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, group practice managers, VA ADPACS and CACs, OIT technical staff, CDW technical staff, and VA leadership at all levels. • Support technical architecture planning and ensure data integrity throughout migration processes. • Document technical processes and produce high‑quality reports and migration documentation. • Utilize experience with virtual and/or cloud‑based servers and applications to support system modernization.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional expertise
- Experience working with CDW / VISTA / Oracle Health data
- Expertise in CDW Metadata, data modeling, and CDW query optimization
- Ability to identify architectural migration patterns and resolve dependencies
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with a wide range of VA stakeholders
- Effective written and oral communication skills
