The CSM is regularly required to communicate with others, and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc. INTRODUCTION When InterVarsity launched the 2030 Calling back in 2017, our best data revealed that there were approximately 1,300 campuses in the country with enrollments of at least 1,000 students but without a known gospel witness– a number that represented roughly 50% of the campuses in the country! Over the last eight years, through the collaborative efforts of the EveryCampus coalition to mobilize prayer, partnership, and planting, we’ve seen that number drop to only ~450 remaining “No-Known-Ministry” campuses! The Catalyze team is InterVarsity’s primary organizational strategy to invest in this missional gap in the hopes that by 2030 there would be “no campus left” in the country without a known gospel movement! GOALS Our team will pursue three key goals over the next two years: - Our “countdown” goal is to reduce the # of NKM campuses from ~450 to 300 by June 2028. - Our cumulative “countup” goals are as follows (July 24-June 28):1 - Plant & sustain 75 new InterVarsity chapters - Confirm and/or Resource 250 Independent Groups STRATEGIES In pursuit of these goals, Catalyze staff will employ a variety of strategies, including: - Digital Research on a portfolio of ~15-30+ NKM campuses (prorated based on hours) - Remote connection & resourcing with Independent Groups - Multi-faceted lead generation to identify prospects with capacity to start something new - Coaching partners to start new ministry on NKM campuses EXPECTATIONS We hope to recruit ~15-20 new staff who would join our existing Catalyze team to: - Spend at least 4-8 hours/week in the Catalyze team/initiative (see below for rhythms) - Commit to 2 years on the team, including ministry years 26-27 and 27-28. - Participate in weekly Catalyze team calls which will alternate between team meetings & “office hours” co-working space. - Participate in a team retreat in tandem with SC27. Pay Range: $49,296.00 - $65,724.00 per year Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual’s ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details. Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package, including health care and retirement savings with a match. Eligibility is based on employee type and hours worked. Benefits include the following: - 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan - 403(b) matching contributions - Dental insurance - Employee assistance program - Employee discounts - Flexible work schedule - Flexible spending accounts - Health insurance - Health savings account - Life insurance - Paid time off - Parental leave - Professional development assistance - Vision insurance Equal Employment Opportunity: InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA is both an equal opportunity employer and a faith-based religious organization. We conduct hiring without regard to race, color, ancestry, national origin, citizenship, age, sex, marital status, parental status, membership in any labor organization, political ideology, or disability of an otherwise qualified individual. The status of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA as an equal opportunity employer does not prevent the organization from hiring staff based on their religious beliefs so that all staff share the same religious commitment.  Pursuant to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 702 (42 U.S.C. 2000e 1(a)) InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA has the right to, and does, hire only candidates who agree with InterVarsity’s Statement of Agreement: Purpose and Doctrinal Basis because InterVarsity believes that each and every staff plays a vital role in advancing InterVarsity’s mission and purposes.
