Job Description

Pricing and Billing Analyst

Bigblue SAS

Pricing and Billing Analyst Paris Admin – Finance / Full-time job / Hybrid Description At Bigblue, we believe execution beats ideas — but great execution starts with great alignment and reliable numbers. To support our next stage of growth, we are hiring a Pricing & Billing Analyst to join the Finance team. In this role, you will sit at the heart of Bigblue’s revenue engine: ensuring our billing is accurate, explainable, and scalable, while supporting pricing analysis when needed. Your mission: make billing rock-solid — by digging into data, identifying anomalies, tightening controls, and partnering with teams to continuously improve how we charge. This is a unique opportunity to own a critical operational-financial process in a fast-growing scale-up, with high impact and high exposure across Finance, Ops, and Tech. What you'll do 📦 Run and secure the billing cycle Own key steps of the billing process and ensure invoices are accurate, complete, and delivered on time - in a context where reliability matters as much as speed. 🔎 Investigate data and detect anomalies Dive deep into billing, operational, and pricing datasets to spot inconsistencies and unexpected movements. Build clear root-cause analyses and drive resolution, helping the company save thousands of euros. 📊 Build controls and improve auditability Create and maintain reconciliations, sanity checks, and reporting that answer “who pays what, and why” — improving transparency for Finance and stakeholders. 🧩 Support pricing setup and changes Contribute to the pricing grid/setup logic: help structure Bigblue pricing engine, taking into account pricing specificities per merchants and ensure changes are applied consistently. 🤝 Partner with Ops, Tech, and Commercial teams Work cross-functionally to proactively improve processes, clarify edge cases, and translate business needs into actionable improvements. 🚀 Drive continuous improvement Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and increase automation — with the goal of making billing more scalable without compromising accuracy. 🧾 Act as a finance control on pricing proposals (management control mindset) Review deals and pricing proposals prepared by Sales/AMs through the lens of margin and financial relevance, and help drive the final “go/no-go” decision when needed. Requirements - Strong analytical mindset: you enjoy digging into data, connecting the dots, and turning ambiguity into clear conclusions. - Highly rigorous, autonomous, and reliable — you can own a critical recurring process and keep quality high under time constraints. - Advanced skills in Excel (comfortable with large datasets, pivots, lookups, modeling; bonus for PowerQuery). - Comfortable using SQL and BI tools to explore data, build queries/dashboards, and monitor KPIs. - Ability to identify anomalies, quantify impact, and communicate findings clearly to non-finance stakeholders. - Experience in billing, controlling, ops finance, pricing, or revenue operations is required. Bonus: experience in a fast-paced environment. - Fluent in French and English (spoken and written). Why join Bigblue ✨ Impact: Own a critical process that directly affects revenue quality, customer trust, and scalability. 💙 Founders-led company with an innovative, caring culture. 🚀 Fast-growing scale-up: Join a well-funded, high-ownership environment where your work has immediate, visible results. 🌍 International environment: Work across Paris, Madrid, London, and our European warehouse network. 🏢 Brand-new offices in the heart of Paris’ 9th arrondissement. 🍱 10€ meal voucher per worked day (55% paid by Bigblue) + unlimited free snacks at the office. 🧘‍♀️ ClassPass membership for fitness & wellness. 🖥️ MacBook or any setup you need — your choice of equipment to do your best work. 🩺 100% health insurance coverage with Benefiz.

Solutions Analyst / Business Analyst WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TEAM MEMBER WITH GOVERNMENT PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE, IDEALLY IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AT A LOCAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT. IF YOU HAVE THAT EXPERIENCE, PLEASE ENSURE IT IS CLEAR ON YOUR RESUME. Compensation Note: If a salary range is listed for this position, please note that we will offer at the starting point of the band. We cover 100% of your health insurance! Role Overview We're seeking a Solutions Analyst who deeply understands how public health departments work and can translate that understanding into technology solutions that actually fit their needs. This role goes beyond gathering requirements. It requires immersing yourself in the workflows, challenges, and realities of public health practice, then figuring out how technology can make things better. We're especially interested in candidates who have worked in environmental health programs at a local health department. You know what it's like to manage inspections, track permits, navigate compliance workflows, and juggle the reporting demands that come with environmental health. That firsthand experience will shape how you approach every solution you design. This is a role for someone who naturally translates needs into action. You're the person who listens to a health department director describe their frustrations and can see the solution taking shape. You're the one who watches staff navigate a clunky process and immediately starts thinking about how it could work better. You take the messy, complex reality of public health operations and turn it into clear direction for a technical team to build against. If you've ever found yourself thinking "I know exactly what they need, I just need to explain it in a way the developers will understand," this role is for you. You'll work on our PH360 platform and various client initiatives, serving as the critical bridge between what health departments need and what our technical teams build. Your lived experience in governmental public health will help you ask the right questions, spot the real problems behind stated requests, and advocate for solutions that work in the real world. We're looking for someone who thinks holistically about problems, can synthesize input from multiple stakeholders, and isn't afraid to push back when a proposed solution doesn't quite fit. As a consulting firm, we value candidates who are passionate and eager to dive into the work. While this role focuses on solutions analysis, you may also contribute your unique talents to other firm initiatives. How You'll Work You'll join an Agile Release Train (ART) that follows SAFe principles. This means: - Program Increment (PI) Planning: You'll participate in quarterly planning sessions, helping shape the roadmap based on your understanding of client needs. - Sprint Collaboration: You'll work in two-week sprints with daily standups, regular backlog refinement, and sprint retrospectives. - Cross-functional Teams: You'll collaborate closely with developers, architects, and QA analysts to ensure solutions meet the real need. - Continuous Discovery: You'll maintain ongoing conversations with clients and stakeholders to refine your understanding of their challenges. Key Responsibilities - Immerse yourself in client workflows to understand how public health staff actually do their work, with particular depth in environmental health programs - Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and opportunities that clients may not have articulated - Synthesize input from multiple stakeholders into coherent solution recommendations - Translate complex public health processes into clear user stories and acceptance criteria - Lead discovery sessions and workshops with health department staff - Serve as the voice of the client within our technical teams - Develop process flows, documentation, and visual aids that communicate the "why" behind solutions - Challenge assumptions and push back when proposed solutions don't fit client realities Experience Required - 2+ years working in governmental public health (local, state, federal, or tribal) - Demonstrated ability to understand complex systems and workflows - Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills - Experience translating between technical and non-technical audiences - Self-motivated with strong initiative - Adaptability in dynamic environments - Comfort working with AI tools and large language models Strongly Preferred - Direct experience in environmental health programs at a local health department (e.g., inspections, permitting, compliance, complaint response) Preferred Qualifications - Experience with agile methodologies - Familiarity with user story development and acceptance criteria writing - Familiarity with Salesforce or similar platforms - Background in process improvement or system implementation - Understanding of public health data systems and reporting requirements (e.g., environmental health tracking, inspection databases) - Experience with discovery techniques (journey mapping, interviews, observation) Notice Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Willingness to adhere to our no-drug workplace policy. You must agree to undergo eVerify for employment status at hiring. No 3rd Party Recruiters. No Phone Calls. We are unable to do informational interviews at this moment. Candidates who call or schedule a "coffee chat" will be disqualified. At Flourish and Thrive Labs, we believe in the unique value each candidate brings. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds and experiences, even if you don't meet all listed qualifications.
