Web Content Project Manager Dallas, TX Freelance Remote $50 - $57 /hr Our Leading health system client is looking for a Web Content Project Manager. This is a remote contract opportunity; 30 hours per week. This role manages the full content production workflow for 3 week sprints, ensuring pages move efficiently from planning through writing, review, approval, and final handoff. It combines project management, editorial coordination, stakeholder communication, and quality control to support high volume content needs. This role is 60% content operations and 40% editorial management. Key Responsibilities: - Plan each sprint by coordinating with SEO, assigning ~15 pages, updating tracking sheets, & creating Workfront tickets. - Manage external writers by providing briefs, assets, and OneDrive folders. - Review all drafts for quality, accuracy, and SEO alignment before sending to SEO for secondary review. - Identify and route content to the correct marketing stakeholders and clinical SMEs. - Send review materials, track responses, follow up on delays, and escalate when needed. - Incorporate SME feedback into final drafts and ensure all approvals are complete. - Upload approved drafts into Workfront and notify the web team for build. - Own Workfront ticket creation, updates, routing, and closeout. - Manage OneDrive/SharePoint organization, version control, and file readiness. - Triage incoming requests and route to correct reviewers. - Maintain SME/stakeholder directories and coordinate all outreach. - Track content status, flag bottlenecks, and keep sprint documentation updated. - Support editorial quality control, ensuring content meets standards before review. - Reconcile feedback across SMEs, SEO, marketing, and web teams. - Prepare final files for web handoff with correct approvals and documentation. Requirements: - Background in Editorial / Web Content Management - Hands on ability to write / copy edit - Proficiency in Workfront or related PM software (ability to provide recommendations) - Experience in healthcare / health systems preferred In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.
