Role Description We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test (Level 2) to join our QA team and contribute to the functional testing of our enterprise applications. In this role, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure our product meets the highest quality standards. You will be expected to write, execute, and maintain automated tests using Playwright while growing your skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You'll join a dynamic team of Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to architect and deliver cutting-edge features that power a platform used by some of the world’s leading organisations. This role requires close collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India. To accommodate the time zone differences, you will be expected to work from 12 PM to 9 PM IST. Qualifications - 2–4 years of overall experience in software quality assurance and testing. - Minimum 9-12 months of hands-on experience with Playwright for UI test automation. - Solid understanding of manual and functional testing methodologies for web-based enterprise applications. - Familiarity with tracking tools (e.g., Jira or equivalent). - Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how automated tests integrate into them. - Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear communication skills. Requirements - Working knowledge of TypeScript / JavaScript. - Prior experience with Cypress or other UI automation frameworks. - Exposure to API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Postman). - Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
