Learning Design Specialist

CFA Institute

• Work with subject matter experts to assess learning needs and identify learning objectives. • Identify the most appropriate instructional strategies and modalities to translate content into engaging and effective online learning. • Collaborate with the SMEs and provide feedback on course storyboard, scripts, case studies, interactions, and exams. • Apply design skills to bring together text, illustrations, video, audio, and animation into engaging e-Learning. • Use e-Learning authoring tools to create interactive content. • Review and evaluate the effectiveness of the existing courses; combine surveys and assessment results to implement course improvements. • Work with business clients on e-Learning delivery, quality assurance, and reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories.
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Proficient with e-Learning authoring tools (Articulate) and other technologies related to e-Learning development.
  • Successful experience working with LMS and CMS programs.
  • Knowledge in finance, data analysis, and related fields is an asset.
