Job Description
Creative Strategist
Huzzle
Role Description We’re hiring a Creative Strategist to build and operate a systematic, data-driven creative engine that improves ad performance across multiple home improvement client accounts. This role sits between performance data and creative production. You will diagnose why ads succeed or fail, design structured creative testing frameworks, and translate insights into detailed briefs for production teams. You will not manage ads, edit videos, or run client calls. Instead, your focus will be building a repeatable creative system that continuously improves CPL, creative performance, and account stability. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong paid social creative strategy experience who enjoys combining analytics, consumer psychology, and structured experimentation to drive measurable results. Key Responsibilities - Analyse performance across multiple paid social campaigns for home improvement clients. - Diagnose creative performance issues using data points such as hook rate, CTR, thumb stop rate, watch time, frequency, and CPL trends. - Identify the psychological drivers behind winning creatives including transformation, safety, status, and esteem. - Design structured creative testing frameworks including hook testing, angle testing, and CTA testing. - Develop new creative angles and messaging based on market sophistication and audience awareness stages. - Write detailed creative briefs for videographers and editors, ensuring production teams execute with clarity. - Analyse test results and iterate creative direction based on performance evidence. - Identify patterns and winning strategies across multiple client accounts and industries. - Document insights and maintain a shared creative knowledge system. - Collaborate closely with media buyers and production teams to improve overall account performance. Qualifications - Proven experience improving paid social performance through creative strategy, not just media buying or copywriting. - Strong ability to analyse Meta Ads performance at the creative level (CTR, hook rate, watch time, frequency, CPL trends). - Experience building structured creative testing frameworks rather than relying on ad-hoc idea generation. - Ability to clearly diagnose why ads succeed or fail using data insights. - Experience writing detailed creative briefs for video production teams. - Strong understanding of consumer psychology and emotional buying drivers. - Ability to identify patterns across multiple accounts and industries, not just single campaigns. - Clear, structured communication skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable creative direction. - Strong ownership mentality with accountability for performance outcomes. Requirements - Experience working in a performance-focused paid social agency environment. - Background in high-ticket or local service industries (home improvement, solar, roofing, property, kitchens, etc.). - Experience analysing creative metrics like Hook Rate, Thumb Stop Rate, Watch Time, CTR, and Frequency. - Experience managing high-volume creative testing environments with frequent launches. - Understanding of market sophistication and awareness stages. - Experience identifying and developing unique mechanisms or differentiated offers. - Familiarity with first-party data environments and creative-led targeting strategies. - Experience documenting insights and building internal knowledge systems using tools like Notion. - Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to accelerate research and ideation. Benefits - Fully Remote: Work from anywhere with international teams. - Peer Community: Connect with high-performing professionals in our network. - Ongoing Support: Receive guidance from Huzzle before and after placement. - Tailored Compensation: Salaries vary by client and candidate preference — we’ll match you with options that fit your goals.
