Job Description

Structural Engineer

Flock Safety

• Perform structural analysis for new and existing installations, including new pole installs, foundations, and mounting structures • Evaluate foundation depths, soil assumptions, and loading conditions for pole and structure-mounted deployments • Support and coordinate Professional Engineer (PE) reviews and jurisdictional submittals • Review third-party calculations, drawings, and engineering reports and stamp approved deliverables • Support structural requirements for drone deployment infrastructure • Partner with Deployment and Permitting teams to resolve AHJ comments and unblock installs • Develop scalable structural standards and best practices

Job Requirements

  • BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • PE license or experience supporting PE-stamped reviews
  • Experience with poles, foundations, or infrastructure design
  • Familiarity with IBC, ASCE, and local amendments
  • Strong cross-functional communication and practical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
