• Provide hands-on supervision of pulp & paper equipment maintenance, repair, rebuild, troubleshooting and installation at customer sites. • In collaboration with engineering and sales personnel you will work on diagnosing and providing technical solutions to our customers during scheduled and emergency service shutdowns. • You'll work independently, therefore, you must demonstrate strong facilitation and problem-solving skills.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology; minimum of five years of related hands-on mechanical experience in roles like maintenance mechanic, mechanical construction foreman or technician.
- Working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, rigging, pipefitting, millwrighting and machining preferred.
- Requires the ability to read blueprints and diagrams.
- Must be able to oversee projects and manage all aspects of leading a sub-contractor crew.
- Ability to travel by air or automobile up to 200 days a year. Mostly domestically, sometimes internationally.
