Vanta
• Design editorial-quality web experiences that clearly communicate Vanta’s brand, product, and vision with clarity and creativity. • Own end-to-end design for high impact web pages: from concept and art direction to responsive design and developer handoff. • Craft compelling data visualizations, infographics, and abstract visual metaphors to make complex concepts feel accessible and memorable. • Select and curate photography and illustrations that reinforce Vanta’s brand identity; occasionally create visuals when needed. • Contribute to Vanta’s web design system, ensuring visual consistency and sustainable workflows. • Collaborate closely with developers, marketers, and content stakeholders to translate business goals into digital experiences. • Experiment with new visual approaches—including AI prototyping tools—to push the creative bar higher. • Define and uphold high standards for craft, typography, layout, and digital design best practices across the web. • Balance brand expression with UX best practices and business goals.
Job Requirements
- BFA in graphic design or a similar field
- 8+ years of experience in web, brand, or visual design, preferably at a fast-paced tech company
- A portfolio showcasing brand storytelling through digital experiences, especially marketing websites
- Expertise in data visualization, visual storytelling, and translating complex information into clear, beautiful design
- Strong ability to work with (and evolve) brand systems—type, color, components, grids—and extend them into new digital expressions
- Excellent understanding of responsive design, UX principles for marketing sites, and emerging trends in digital and interactive design
- Advanced proficiency in Figma; ability to create scalable, organized design files and systems
- Experience working with developers and familiarity with web implementation constraints
- Working knowledge of AI ideation or prototyping tools
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to articulate design decisions clearly
