Manager, Analytics and Data Science
Hitachi
• Manage a team in building interactive dashboards, predictive models, and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, Python, SQL • Apply advanced analytics techniques (e.g., statistical modelling, machine learning) to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and support business decision making • Delivery of analysis, dashboards, and sharp insights that enable Finance leaders to quickly understand and effectively make decisions • Guide automation of data processing and transformation using Python, SQL, and modern cloud-based platforms • Establish and enforce data governance and quality assurance standards across all projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Quantitative Marketing, or Finance preferred, or an MBA combined with professional experience in a quantitative discipline performing statistical analysis
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in pricing or financial analysis, business planning or analysis, or similar quantitative discipline
- Proven experience in data strategy, analytics leadership, and AI implementation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to team with others
- High energy, creative, and self-starting; comfortable with ambiguity and possessing the ability to complete multiple projects on time
- Experience with management reporting
- Eagerness to collaborate with individuals from varying backgrounds and diverse skill sets
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, data warehouses and data extraction
- Strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate technical advancements into business impact.

• Develop new educational products based on insights, stakeholder interviews and validation with target audiences. • Lead co-creation processes with partner institutions, aligning technical, academic and market requirements. • Translate strategic concepts into comprehensive documentation, including pedagogical specifications, marketing guidelines and enablement materials for internal teams (sales, marketing, content). • Define course positioning and value proposition, linking product attributes to market needs and competitive differentiators. • Monitor the course lifecycle, collaborating on updates, maintenance and portfolio evolution initiatives. • Analyze market, competitor and product performance data to recommend adjustments and new opportunities.
