VP of Sales, Strategic Accounts
AcuityMD
• Achieve near and mid-term customer acquisition and revenue objectives. • Deeply understand the needs of our customers to create the right playbook, provide leadership to refine the strategic sales approach, and build on the sales process to replicate successes. • Engage directly with targeted prospects to identify opportunities, participate in all major sales, and close deals for the Strategic Sales Team. • Build out a world-class sales team by attracting and retaining the best of the best diverse talent. • Provide driving leadership: • Lead the creation and evolution of strategies to penetrate the target market and expand the business. • Develop and present the vision for success to our customers • Define and reinforce the operating culture through leadership by example. • Learn and improve the sales infrastructure and motion: • Be a sales process expert to help refine/implement operational processes and discipline to create a strong sales pipeline/backlog profile. • Prepare necessary sales execution plans including revenue forecasts, personnel, capital expenditures, and operating costs. • Be accountable for results: • Take responsibility for meeting/exceeding agreed-upon sales targets. • Be present to help close important deals. Structure and negotiate deal terms. • Establish tangible goals and priorities. Create the focal points for measuring performance. • Provide sales training and actively mentor the team. • Contribute to company management: • Communicate market feedback and product needs to the rest of the organization. • Sales are part of the fabric of the company. Develop and cultivate essential working relationships between sales, marketing, and engineering. • Ensure that AcuityMD is consistently delivering to customer needs and expectations.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of enterprise/strategic/major sales management experience with at least 2 years of experience leading in SaaS.
- Demonstrated track record of excellent sales leadership, including sustained quota over-achievement at B2B SaaS companies.
- Detail-oriented, and understands the importance of time-based deals.
- Proven ability to scale a team and rapidly ramp sales. Built sales infrastructure and operations in a high-growth environment.
- Sales background with enterprise/strategic/major sales experience preferred.
- Quality companies in the background. Brings a mix of early-stage, medium and large company experience.
- Success as a leader. Proven ability to attract, develop, and retain superstar-level sales reps.
- An evangelist. Personal passion and fervor for industry-leading next-generation technology.
- Personally active with customers and partners. Adept at uncovering opportunities, pitching, and closing.
- A pro-active, hands-on individual able to command the respect of the entire organization through leadership, intelligence, hard work, and presence. Team player.
