• Collaborate across Sales, Underwriting, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to understand business needs and scope data requirements, then drive those projects to completion with minimal guidance • Work with product, insurance, CRM and more datasets end-to-end--from ingestion and transformation through analysis and delivery--using a range of analytical and statistical approaches • Build and maintain models that help the business predict, prioritize, and act quickly and more frequently • Create visualizations, dashboards, and reports to effectively communicate insights tailored to different audiences
Job Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience as a data scientist in a related insurtech or financial services field
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science)
- Expert with SQL and proficiency with either Python or R
- Proficiency with descriptive and inferential statistics
- Familiarity with building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in production environments
- Comfortable communicating recommendations and analysis in compelling data visualizations
- Experience or interest in building out the team's agentic analytics capabilities
