About the Role: We're seeking a dynamic Clinical Lead (Physician) to advocate for their colleagues and fellow pod members, drive clinical excellence and a supportive work environment, and contribute to our practice’s continued growth and success. The Clinical Lead (Physician) will be responsible for co-leading a pod, up to 10 clinicians alongside a Registered Dietitian Lead. They will provide critical support to the practice in support of high quality care delivery and clinician well-being. Leadership time will also be devoted to providing pod assignee support and collaborating with their Regional Medical Director to drive clinical efficiency and other initiatives that support company goals, mission and values. This role requires an empathetic leader driven to help others, promote obesity care and telemedicine best practices, and demonstrate a commitment to deliver the highest standards of clinical care. What You Will Do: Provide guidance and mentorship to the reporting clinicians, focused specifically on supporting them in providing clinical care of the highest quality and ensuring a positive and productive professional experience at Form Health. - - Provide support for professional needs: listen to and engage actively with any concerns about patients, the clinical model, the work environment, team mates, or anything related to the employee’s experience at Form Health. Problem-solved and coach to address any such concerns. Bring issues and proposed solutions to the attention of leadership as appropriate. - Provide feedback about clinical work and team participation through regular (monthly to quarterly) individual meetings, twice yearly (or as needed) chart reviews, and an annual in-depth session, as part of the Form Health quality assurance process. - Provide mentorship for professional development, ensuring opportunities for education and professional growth are available. - Monitor evidence of burnout and help implement mitigation strategies. Provide clinical input and process improvement for clinic operations. - - Assist hiring medical clinicians and in onboarding and training them. - Assist clinical leadership in identifying issues, collecting feedback, developing and implementing solutions and/or new policies/procedures. - Help support daily operations for clinical administrative personnel (PCCs, Practice Managers, Enrollment Specialists, Care Advisors) Actively promote a positive team culture that supports, values and elevates individual team members and their contributions. About You: - Required: Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Certification by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) or demonstrated extensive clinical experience (minimum 3 years) in obesity medicine and pharmacotherapy (older generation oral and newer injectable medications). - Active and unrestricted Medical State License in WA & CO - Preferred 5 years as an attending physician in a primary specialty or endocrinology. - Preferred one year of experience supervising APPs in a clinical setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong interest in mentoring, teaching, and collaborating with APPs and Registered Dietitians. - Demonstrated competency and comfortable in managing patients with complex co-morbidities. - Adherence to evidence-based treatments, behavioral interventions, nutrition and pharmacotherapy for both endocrine disorders and obesity. - Passion for providing a superlative patient experience and helping create an exceptional work environment.
