• Design and implement core Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to ensure the secure and scalable operation of Planet's services. • Actively work on major platform modernization initiatives, including the full migration from legacy tooling to new solutions. • Manage cloud-based infrastructure services, notably our fleet of Kubernetes clusters, and associated tooling to meet internal needs and support customer-facing service level agreements. • Enhance and maintain observability for key platform services, leveraging Grafana and other tools to establish Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and improve operational readiness. • Implement improvements and features for core systems owned by the team, such as GKE clusters, public API gateway, and other managed infrastructure solutions. • Collaborate with software engineering teams to refine the developer experience (DevEx) of our managed infrastructure.

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and highly available applications and services on AWS. • Utilize a wide range of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and more. • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform. • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, or similar tools. • Integrate AI/ML-powered solutions in sales tools to support and optimize sales workflows. • Build and consume RESTful APIs and other web services. • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using AWS CloudWatch. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Lead the implementation and ongoing improvement of abuse detection services and customer account security features • With assistance of team manager, implement a home-grown risk decision engine • Build and maintain APIs to support extensible, low-latency risk decisioning • Research and analyze abuse tools and attacker tactics to inform detection strategies • Participate in fraud incident triage and lead development of mitigations and remediation • Collaborate with Data Science and Data Engineering on model feature design • Work closely with Fraud Operations and Application Security to align detection and response • Stay informed on fraud prevention trends and apply relevant insights internally

• Design and implement robust B2B integrations using REST APIs, file-based exchanges, and messaging platforms like Azure Service Bus. • Collaborate with business stakeholders and partners to understand integration needs and translate them into technical solutions. • Develop and maintain Azure-based components (Functions, Logic Apps, App Services) to support integrations. • Leverage Azure API Management to expose and secure internal APIs for external partners. • Implement error handling, retry policies, and alerting mechanisms to ensure resiliency in integration workflows. • Maintain integration documentation. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance and reliability of integration flows. • Ensure integration meets security, auditability, and scalability requirements. • Configure and manage Azure Application Insights and Log Analytics for visibility into integration health. • Conduct regular security reviews and implement compliance controls for integrations. • Participate in planning, code reviews, and design sessions with global product and engineering teams. • Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies. • Provide accurate estimates and break down work into actionable development tasks. • Collaborate closely with QA and DevOps to ensure features are delivered with high quality and operational readiness.
