Area Account Manager

Regal Rexnord

• Drive sales growth by managing existing accounts and pursuing new customer opportunities within the assigned geographic territory. • Expand market share and penetration of Motion Control Solutions products by engaging OEMs, MRO accounts, and Industrial Distributors through sales, specification support, and product training. • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, meeting expectations for potential revenue, win rate, and closure velocity. • Conduct required QBRs and provide timely documentation of all sales activities within CRM systems. • Partner proactively with distribution, coordinating training, joint account efforts, corporate programs, and other sales-related needs. • Prepare accurate annual sales forecasts, market assessments, and district plans as required by sales leadership. • Keep leadership informed of key market activities, competitive movements, and customer developments that could impact the business. • Manage territory expenses effectively through thoughtful planning and efficient travel and account coverage. • Adhere to Regal's Ethics, Safety, and Environmental Compliance Programs, including export, import, and supply chain security requirements. • Travel as required (typically 4–6 nights per month) to meet business and customer needs across the assigned territory.

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience in industrial sales
  • 4+ Years of Outside Sales Experience (Industrial Sales Preferred)
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Good verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and customers.
  • Competent computer skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Ability to adjust to varying priorities, project lists.
  • Employee will live within the geographical boundaries of the assigned sales territory of Southern Boston
  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep U.S. work authorization.
