Location: Remote, US Based Only Responsibilities The Data Modeler, Business Intelligence Data Analytics, supports the leadership in designing, building, and maintaining our business intelligence ecosystem. The Data Modeler ensures data is accurate, reliable, and actionable, creating dashboards and reports that help business teams make informed decisions. This position requires strong technical skills in data modeling, ETL, and BI tools, combined with the ability to translate business requirements into clear insights. Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) - Design, build, and maintain data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehouses under the guidance of the Sr. Data Modeler - Build and maintain dashboards and visual reports in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools for business stakeholders - Ensure data quality, governance, and alignment to defined KPIs and organizational metric standards - Partner with business teams to translate requirements into actionable insights - Assist in BI tool administration (access, performance, monitoring) and ensure system reliability - Support initiatives to optimize and scale BI solutions across the organization Qualifications What You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred) - 5+ years of experience in data modeling, ETL development, and BI solutions - Proficiency in SQL and Python in production environments - Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, or Looker - Familiarity with Azure ecosystem and exposure to Databricks - Experience working with databases and data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, Synapse) - Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements. - Strong communication and collaboration skills The Extras We Value (Preferred Requirements) While not mandatory, here are some additional things that would make you stand out: - Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Data Lake) - Familiarity with data governance, quality, and metadata management practices - Experience with advanced analytics or predictive modeling - Knowledge of agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration - Experience supporting scalable dashboards and automated ETL workflows Physical Requirements We want to make sure you’re fully equipped for success. The salary for this role ranges from $95,000 to $145,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table.
