• Lead the design and execution of enterprise data platform modernization, migrating legacy systems (Informatica, DataStage, SSIS, Oracle, SQL Server) to a scalable, secure Snowflake ecosystem
Job Requirements
- Minimum 12–15+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture, with focus on enterprise data platforms and migrations
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles (solution engineering / consulting / architecture) working with large enterprise or global accounts
- Strong expertise in legacy-to-cloud migration, specifically:
- Informatica / DataStage / SSIS
- Oracle / SQL Server / legacy data warehouses → Snowflake
- Deep competency in modern data stack:
- ETL/ELT, Data Warehouse / Lakehouse architectures
- Snowflake platform (architecture, performance tuning, cost optimization)
- Strong hands-on expertise with SQL (advanced) and working knowledge of Python
- Experience designing and implementing data models (Star schema, Data Vault, or similar)
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and integration patterns
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) and modern ELT frameworks (e.g., dbt)
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and enterprise compliance frameworks
- Ability to present effectively to both:
- Executive stakeholders (CIO/CTO/CDO level)
- Deep technical audiences (engineering teams)
- Experience working within enterprise ecosystems, GSIs, or Global Capability Centers
- Strong communication skills with ability to articulate business value and technical solutions clearly
- Industry experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or Technology domains
- Experience with Snowflake advanced features (Streams, Tasks, Snowpipe, UDFs) is a bonus
- Familiarity with migration automation tools (e.g., SnowConvert, Informatica Cloud) is a bonus
- Exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics workloads on Snowflake is a bonus
- Experience with BI and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a bonus
- Multi-cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP) is a bonus
- Relevant certifications:
- Snowflake (SnowPro Core / Advanced) is a bonus
- AWS Solutions Architect is a bonus
