Specifications Sales Associate

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the achievement of individual and Subdivision priorities and objectives, in close collaboration with Specification Subdivision personnel and the Vice President of Pipeline Development• Meaningfully contribute to the achievement of Specifications Subdivision priorities and objectives through effective processes, problem solving, and strategy implementation, in furtherance of the priorities and objectives of the Pipeline Development Division and the Company• Ensure internal cross-collaboration and utilization of Company resources to achieve shared objectives• Execute plans for promoting Stego products and securing specifications that strategically position Stego products as the standard choice for architects, engineers, consultants, and others in the design community• Conduct engaging, compelling, and technically sound virtual and in-person seminars/webinars and meetings, and communicate by phone and email, with architecture and engineering firms to market and create demand for Stego products across multiple brands• Engage with and influence design professionals, consulting and supporting them with technical information and specification services• Create demand for Stego products, strengthening brand presence in the design and construction communities, and ensuring opportunities for downstream sales pull-through• Identify and track construction projects and customer accounts with potential for Stego products through effective processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and strategy implementation• Collaborate with Lead Generation, Customer Development, and Sales teams to continually nurture relationships and opportunities, ensuring specification pull-through• Develop, manage, and maintain strong working relationships with architectural customers and others in the industry to strengthen market presence and Stego brand loyalty• Actively and consistently utilize Stego’s CRM and other internal resources per Company policy to identify, develop, and maximize specification opportunities and relationships with target accounts by tracking specification activities, account engagements (activities), and construction project progress• Serve as a Stego brand ambassador, ensuring consistent positioning, messaging, and value communication across all customer touchpoints• Field inbound inquiries from architectural and design customers, including technical and product application questions, as needed• Participate in Stego regional specification “blitzes” and represent Stego at regional and national trade shows and customer and industry events (including A/E and national conferences) to expand brand visibility and influence• Build strong working relationships and collaborate with other Pipeline Development Division and Sales Division team members, and all Stego employees• Establish the Specifications Subdivision as a respected and collaborative Company resource• Support and contribute to the culture and atmosphere of the Specification Subdivision, in alignment with Stego’s Core Values

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (required)
  • Construction, manufacturing, design, or technical experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Salesforce (strongly preferred)
  • Excellent presentation, networking, and oral and written communication skills
  • Highly coachable
  • Strong critical thinking, planning, problem solving, and strategy implementation skills
  • High emotional intelligence
  • Highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy with strong follow-through skills
