What You’ll Bring - 10+ years of experience with an IPP, project developer, ISO/RTO, utility, or power systems consulting firm. - Demonstrated experience with interconnection studies, transmission planning, and IBR modeling, particularly in ERCOT. - Strong working knowledge of FERC, NERC, and ISO/RTO interconnection requirements, standards, and processes. - Hands-on experience with at least one, and preferably several, of the following tools: PSLF, PowerWorld, PSSE, PSCAD, TARA, and ASPEN. - Direct experience with transmission and distribution interconnection tariffs, procedures, and studies in key markets, specifically ERCOT. - Experience supporting large load interconnections and non-traditional interconnection use cases. - Proven ability to lead complex technical processes while managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences. - A self-directed work style and sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments. - Active participation or leadership in industry working groups or task forces. - Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
