Field Service Representative – Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings

• Provide insightful feedback and data on recurrent issues to enhance customer service and performance • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding swiftly and professionally to inquiries from the Builder organization • Foster and maintain positive customer relationships by actively gathering feedback from both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring ongoing improvements • Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical teams to address customer needs • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently • Regularly generate detailed and analytical service reports • Collaborate with other departments to identify root causes and implement effective solutions to fulfill customer needs • Assess customer requirements and offer expert advice and recommendations • Establish trust-based relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and loyalty
Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Technical education, certifications, or related experience are preferred
- A strong knowledge of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings (PEMB) and the ability to read blueprints are essential
- Experience in at least two of the following areas is preferable: 5+ years of building erection experience, 5+ years in the PEMB industry, particularly in drafting or engineering tasks, 5+ years in PEMB manufacturing, 5+ years in Field Service or Customer Service roles
- Proficiency in PC-based applications, including Excel, Word, and Oracle, is required
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary
- The ability to travel periodically (approximately 10%) for on-site visits
