CDP Engineer, Segment
Blend360
• Build and manage scalable audience segments within Segment CDP based on marketing and business requirements. • Translate marketing use cases into technical segmentation logic using the Segment platform. • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across data pipelines, source systems, and the CDP environment. • Monitor platform health and define validation checks for data ingestion and audience accuracy. • Identify ingestion failures, unexpected data gaps, or inconsistencies and escalate when necessary. • Validate that customer data arriving in the CDP aligns with upstream data architecture and expectations. • Work with identity resolution and profile unification concepts within complex enterprise data environments. • Establish governance standards including workflows, naming conventions, and QA processes. • Partner with marketing teams to prioritize activation use cases and improve targeting precision and campaign performance. • Enable and support marketing stakeholders to increase adoption and effective use of Segment.
Job Requirements
- Hands-on experience working with Segment Customer Data Platform (CDP).
- Strong expertise in audience building and segmentation logic.
- Experience monitoring data ingestion processes and identifying data pipeline issues.
- Solid understanding of identity resolution and unified customer profile concepts.
- Experience validating data across source systems and CDP outputs.
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments with marketing and data teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced English proficiency is required for effective communication with global teams.
