• Proactively partner with Arista Account Managers to understand and solve customer challenges and conduct (white board) network architectural sessions and Arista product presentations • Architect, design and propose Arista Data Center, Routing & Campus network and security solutions to help generate new or additional sales • Perform hands-on customer proof-of-concepts and (initial) network deployments using state of the art products and features • Create design guidelines and recommend improvements to customers for the networks they support • Leading technical responses to RFP/RFQs • Leading customer feature requests from customer requirements to implementation to deployment • Provide (customer) feedback to Product Management and Development • Represent Arista at industry events and conferences • Keep up-to-date on competitive solutions, products and services • Author white papers, blogs and articles on technology and products

• partner with Account teams to provide technical systems engineering support for enterprise customers and channel partners. • Deliver presentation, demonstration, and participate in sales call with prospects and customers. • Architect and design VeloCloud SD-WAN network and overall Arista solutions. • Lead the technical responses to RFIs, RFPs, and sales proposals. • Perform Proof of Concept (PoC) including hands-on tests to validate customer POC setups. • Provide technical training to VeloCloud prospects, customers, and channel partners.

• Proactively reach out to the customer to position Arista products in DC, Campus, Routing, AI, CV etc in order to expand account footprint. • Provide Technical assistance on new opportunities including Proof of Concept testing at Arista and in customer's labs. • Ensure the customer is performing operational health checks, compliance reviews, and automation maturity assessments. • Assist in deploying and integrating CloudVision, APIs, and automation toolsets. • Identify training needs, and provide guidance on training, certification, and skill uplift of customer teams.

• Providing pre-sales technical support for our enterprise and commercial clients in the San Diego region. • The Systems Engineer plays a vital role in the Arista Sales team, primarily serving as a trusted advisor to our customers, collecting their requirements, and pinpointing opportunities with existing and prospective clients. • Partnering with the Arista Account Managers to understand customer challenges and conduct whiteboard network architectural reviews. • Conducting Arista product presentations of Arista’s Open Networking Data Center and Cognitive Campus (including Wifi) networking solutions, CloudVision (Network Automation), Security (Network Detection and Response), Endpoint Security(Network Access Control), and Real-time Fabric Monitoring solutions(Network Packet Broker.) • Architecting, designing, and proposing Arista Data Center & Campus network solutions using leaf-spine architectures (VxLAN, EVPN) and network overlays to capture additional sales. • Performing hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, Data Center and Campus network designs, and network deployments using new products and features. • Putting together design guidelines and recommending improvements to customers for the networks they support. • Partnering with Sales Team to respond to RFP/RFQs. • Providing feedback to Product Management and Engineering. • Representing Arista at industry events and conferences. • Keeping up-to-date on competitive solutions, products, and services. • Authoring white papers on technology and product.
