Implement Odoo, Finance – Temporary Project
SELECTION BOOK
• Responsible for leading the implementation of the Odoo Finance module for a marketing agency in a temporary project. • Manage configuration/parameterization, data migration, setup of accounting and financial processes, automations and user training. • Analyze the agency's current financial and accounting processes and design the optimal configuration in Odoo. • Configure Odoo financial and accounting modules: chart of accounts, journals, taxes, products/services and posting rules. • Plan and execute data migration from existing systems, ensuring data integrity and traceability. • Develop or adapt integrations with external tools used by the agency. • Implement workflows and automations. • Perform functionality testing, process validation and incident resolution. • Document the configuration, operational procedures and user manuals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Systems Engineering, Business Administration or a related field (completed or near completion).
- 2 to 5 years of proven experience implementing Odoo (preferably version 12 or later) or similar ERPs on financial and accounting modules.
- Experience migrating accounting data, configuring chart of accounts, taxes and bank reconciliations.
- Experience integrating Odoo with external systems via APIs, connectors or ETL tools.
- Experience working with marketing agencies, service companies or SMEs is a plus.
- Functional proficiency with Odoo financial modules: Accounting, Invoicing, Payments, Bank Reconciliation and Reports.
- Knowledge of local accounting and tax regulations to configure taxes and mandatory reports.
- Basic technical skills in Python, XML and using the Odoo API for developments or adaptations (desirable).
- Advanced spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets) for preparing and validating data migrations.
- Process analysis skills, attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Availability for temporary work with the possibility of flexible hours during deployment and stabilization.
